Green Beans and Potatoes (Asian-style)

This potato and green beans stir fry is a great combination of carbs and vitamins. Fresh green beans can be steamed, roasted, or sauteed. I like sauteeing green beans as I find when steaming and roasting it’s easy to overcook them. The unique quality of this dish is that the green beans are lightly charred, when you bite into the green beans, you can taste the blistered skin and tender center in every bite…also buzzing with flavor!

  • Green Beans: If possible, choose young green beans (it tend to be juicier inside), washed and dice into 1 cm length.

Just made this for dinner as a main with rice, it was delicious! Thank you for the recipe;) I had to use mirin as I didn’t have Chinese cooking wine but worked very well.
